Full Finish Remodel with Built-In Bar & Fireplace Feature Wall in Chelan, WA

A full finish remodel for a Chelan, Washington home that pulled the entire main living space together. Garcia Home Renovations built a custom wet bar with paneled black shelving, sage green cabinetry, and a live-edge walnut countertop set with a hammered copper sink and dual under-counter wine fridges. On the opposite side of the home we framed and tiled a new fireplace feature wall with a slate tile surround, solid wood mantel, and sage green accent paint that ties back to the bar. The scope also covered new flooring throughout, drywall repairs and texture, paint, lighting updates, and the finish details that make the whole space read as one finished room.
Custom Built-In Bar & Live-Edge Countertop
We framed and finished the bar wall from the studs out. The base cabinets were built in shaker-style sage green with soft-close doors, flanked by two stainless wine and beverage fridges. The countertop is a single live-edge walnut slab, sanded and sealed, with a hand-hammered copper bar sink and a matte black goose-neck faucet. Above the counter, two paneled black built-in shelving towers frame a William Morris, style wallpaper accent and a single hanging pendant light.
Fireplace Feature Wall
On the opposite end of the room, we built out a full fireplace feature wall. The surround is wrapped in dark slate tile from floor to mantel, with a chunky solid wood mantel set across the top. The angled accent wall behind the mantel was painted in a muted sage green to tie back to the bar cabinetry, and a recessed linear electric fireplace was installed flush into the tile face for a clean, modern look.
Flooring, Drywall, Paint & Lighting
New wood-look plank flooring was laid through the bar area, living room, and surrounding space, with clean transitions into the rest of the home. We patched and repaired drywall, blended texture so the repairs disappear, repainted walls, ceilings, baseboards, and trim, and updated the lighting throughout, from the pendant over the bar to the recessed cans and ceiling fan in the living area. Every joint, return, and corner was caulked, sanded, and finish painted before final reveal.
