NuCore Performance LVP Flooring Install in Chelan, WA

Chelan, WA

A full-floor NuCore Performance luxury vinyl plank install for a lake-view home on Lake Chelan. Garcia Home Renovations pulled the existing flooring, prepped and leveled the subfloor, then ran wide-plank waterproof LVP across the great room, dining area, and entry. Planks were laid off the longest sight line through the windows so the floor reads straight from the front door all the way to the lake. Tight scribe cuts around the fireplace hearth, door jambs, and existing tile keep every transition flat and clean, no quarter round, no gaps.

Why NuCore Performance LVP for a Lake Chelan Home

NuCore Performance is a 100% waterproof rigid-core LVP with an attached underlayment and a heavy commercial-grade wear layer. For a Lake Chelan home, with wet boots, paddleboards, dogs in and out off the deck, and seasonal temperature swings, that combination holds up where standard laminate or engineered hardwood would swell, separate, or scratch. The wide-plank wood-look finish reads like real oak under the lake light coming through the windows.

Subfloor Prep & Layout

Before any plank went down we pulled the old flooring, vacuumed and scraped the subfloor, checked for high and low spots with a long straight edge, and leveled where needed so the finished floor sits dead flat. Layout was pulled off the longest wall of windows so every plank runs straight toward the lake view, no angled cuts fighting the room.

Tight Transitions Around Stone, Tile & Door Jambs

The great room steps down from a tiled entry, wraps a stone fireplace hearth, and meets existing kitchen tile at a raised landing. Every one of those transitions was scribed, undercut, and trimmed so the LVP butts in flush with no gaps and no quarter round. Door jambs and casings were undercut so plank slides under the trim for a built-in look.

FAQ

About NuCore & LVP Flooring Installs Around Lake Chelan

Is NuCore Performance LVP a good choice for a Lake Chelan home?+

Yes. NuCore Performance is 100% waterproof with a rigid stone-polymer core, attached underlayment, and a heavy wear layer. It handles wet boots, dogs, paddleboards, and the temperature swings we see in Chelan and Manson homes far better than laminate or standard engineered hardwood.

How long does a full-floor LVP install take?+

Most full-floor LVP installs we do in Chelan, Manson, and Wenatchee run three to seven days depending on square footage, subfloor prep, transitions into existing tile, and how much baseboard and trim work goes back on at the end.

Do you handle subfloor prep and old flooring removal?+

Yes. We pull the existing flooring, haul it out, scrape and vacuum the subfloor, check for level, and patch or float low spots before any plank goes down. A flat subfloor is what makes a wide-plank LVP floor stay tight long term.

Do you install LVP flooring in Manson, Wenatchee, and Leavenworth too?+

Yes. Garcia Home Renovations installs LVP, hardwood, and tile flooring throughout Chelan, Manson, Wenatchee, Entiat, Orondo, Cashmere, Leavenworth, and the surrounding North Central Washington area. Call (509) 264-0754 or send a message for an estimate.
