Flooring Installation in Chelan and Wenatchee, WA

A floor is only as good as what is underneath it. Before any plank or tile goes down we pull the old material, check the subfloor for squeaks and soft spots, fasten it off, and flatten dips and humps so the finished floor does not telegraph every flaw.

Luxury Vinyl Plank and Laminate

LVP is the workhorse for lake homes, rentals, kitchens, basements, and any house with dogs and kids. Waterproof cores handle spills and wet boots, click-lock systems float over most existing substrates, and the good products hold up to years of traffic. We acclimate material before install, leave the proper expansion gap at every wall, stagger seams so the pattern looks random instead of stair-stepped, and undercut door casings so planks slide underneath rather than getting scribed around them.

Hardwood and Tile

Solid and engineered hardwood get nailed or glued to a properly prepped and moisture-tested subfloor, then trimmed out with matching shoe and reducers. Tile work starts with the right underlayment: backer board or an uncoupling membrane, thinset combed at the correct notch, and full coverage under every large-format tile so corners do not crack later. Wet areas get waterproofing behind and beneath the tile. Layout gets planned so cuts land where they are least visible and grout lines run straight through doorways.

Transitions, Trim, and Whole-House Installs

The details people notice are the edges: thresholds between rooms, stair nosing, transitions to tile or carpet, baseboard and shoe molding reinstalled tight to the floor. On whole-house installs we sequence room by room so you can keep living there, move furniture as we go, haul off the old material, and clean up rather than leaving a dumpster full of tack strip in your driveway. Stairs, landings, and closets are included in the scope, not treated as extras discovered later.

FAQ

Questions We Get About Flooring Installation

Can new flooring go over my existing floor?+

Sometimes. Floating floors can go over sound, flat vinyl or tile. If the old material is loose, cupped, or uneven, removing it gives a better and longer-lasting result.

Is LVP a good choice for a lake home or rental?+

It is our most requested product for exactly those properties. It is waterproof, it handles heavy traffic and sand, and a damaged plank can be replaced without redoing the room.

How long does a flooring install take?+

A single room is typically one to two days. A whole house usually runs three days to a week depending on square footage, stairs, and how much subfloor prep is needed.

Do you move furniture and remove the old floor?+

Yes, moving furniture, tearing out the existing material, and hauling it away are all part of the job.
