Garcia Home Renovations pulled the old flooring, prepped and leveled the subfloor, and laid new wide-plank LVP throughout the main living space, bedrooms, hallways, and walk-in closet. Clean cuts around door jambs, tight seams at transitions, and fresh base shoe trim give the whole home a uniform, high-end finish that holds up to lake-life traffic.
Subfloor Prep & Layout
Before any plank went down we pulled the old flooring, vacuumed the subfloor, checked for high spots and dips, and leveled where needed. Plank layout was laid out off the longest sight line so the wood grain runs cleanly toward the lake-side windows and doors in the main room.
Wide-Plank LVP Install
We installed a wide-plank, wood-look luxury vinyl plank flooring rated for full residential use. LVP is a strong fit for Lake Chelan and Manson homes, it handles moisture from wet swimsuits and pets, holds color in direct sun, and stays stable across temperature swings from summer to winter.
Cuts, Transitions & Trim
Every door jamb was undercut so the plank slides clean underneath, vents and outlets were cut tight, and transition strips were set flat between rooms and tile areas. Base shoe was added where needed to cover the expansion gap and tie the new floor into the existing baseboards and cabinetry.
